Using this site and our repair service

By booking a repair, dropping off a device, or using this site, you agree to these terms. A diagnosis is free and comes with a real price before any work starts — nothing is repaired, and no charge is made, without your approval of that price first.

Data and your device

We do not go browsing through your device. For most repairs, your data is never at risk — but any repair involving a drive, board-level work, or liquid damage carries some inherent risk to stored data, the same as it would at any repair shop.

Back up before you hand off your device whenever you reasonably can, especially for drive or liquid-damage repairs. We will always tell you up front if a specific repair carries meaningful data risk, but backing up first is on you.

We only request device access needed for the approved diagnosis or repair. Remove accounts or files you do not want available during service when practical, and tell us if a device requires a password. Contact requests are used to answer and schedule service; they are not sold. Ask us to delete a request or close a service record by calling or texting (715) 204-4544, subject to records we must keep for payment, warranty, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Drop-off, mail-in, and unclaimed devices

Contact us before handing off or mailing a device. We will confirm where and how to send it, what is included, and who is responsible for shipping. We document the device and included accessories at intake. Return shipping, storage time, and any charge for an unclaimed device will be disclosed before we accept it; no address or walk-in availability should be assumed from this website.

Warranty

Standard repairs carry a 90-day warranty on the work performed. Care Plan members get an extended 1-year warranty, per the Care Plan terms shown on our Plans page.

Mendy AI Disclaimer

Mendy is an AI-supported, human-led troubleshooting assistant available to Care Plan members. Before you use it, understand what it is and is not:

Safety-critical issues: stop and contact a human, do not rely on Mendy. If you're dealing with a swollen battery, any sign of heat, smoke, or a burning smell, or a device that got wet while powered on, stop immediately, unplug/power off if it's safe to do so, and contact us directly rather than continuing to troubleshoot with Mendy or on your own.
