What belongs in it
Add substantial course projects, co-ops, campus and off-campus jobs, undergraduate research, competitions, leadership, community work, creative practice, and certifications. Record the dates, your role, collaborators, tools, audience, outcome, and the career-readiness competencies demonstrated.
Attach evidence while it exists
Save a photograph, abstract, drawing, code link, presentation, reflection, or supervisor evaluation when the experience ends. Remove confidential, personal, or employer-owned information first. The record is private by default; students choose individual items to publish.
Reflection makes it useful
A useful entry answers four questions: What problem were you solving? What did you personally do? What evidence shows the result? What would you change next time? That turns an activity list into interview stories and helps advisers see which opportunity would add something new.
Ownership and verification
Students control their narrative and visibility. Faculty, supervisors, and program staff may verify that an experience occurred and attach feedback, but they do not publish it for the student. Export tools let graduates keep a copy after the university account closes.
Fictional information
UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every office, service, phone number, policy, and statistic on this page is invented; nothing here describes a real institution or a service you can actually contact.
