Hire talent

Post co-op, internship, and full-time roles in PorterConnect, attend the fall and spring career conferences, and build a recurring co-op pipeline. Every undergraduate does applied experience, so students arrive with real work under their belt.

Sponsor a project

Bring a scoped technical, design, research, or business problem to a course or a senior capstone team, or to one of the applied research centers. You get a deliverable and a close look at students you might hire; students get a real client.

Develop your workforce

Customized instruction, certificates, and short courses delivered on campus, online, or at your site through Business & Industry Outreach and the workforce center.

Start the conversation

The Discovery Center is the front door — it scopes your problem, matches it to the right faculty, course, or team, handles the agreement, and manages the project.

Common questions

We're a small company — is a capstone team realistic?
Yes, and small, well-scoped problems often make the best projects. The Discovery Center helps size it to a team and a term.

How much does a project cost?
Course and capstone projects are typically low- or no-cost; sponsored research and custom training are quoted. On a parody site the figures shown elsewhere are illustrative.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. The offices, steps, dates, and contacts described here are invented; nothing on this page is a real process you can complete.
