Duane Kolsrud
Director of Facilities, since 1998
Duane Kolsrud has run Facilities since 1998 and holds the only complete set of keys to every building on campus, including two that have since been demolished. He has overseen every major capital project on campus for a quarter century, most recently the planning phase of the Founders Hall renovation.
He has been offered a vice chancellorship twice and declined twice, reportedly telling the search committee both times that he would rather keep the keys.
