Dr. Karen Bergstrom

Karen Bergstrom leads UW–Porter Falls' largest college by enrollment, overseeing ten programs from Mechanical Engineering to the Welding Technology certificate. Before joining Porter in 2011 as a faculty member, she spent nine years as a manufacturing engineer.
Under her deanship the college signed the ten-year workforce pipeline agreement with three regional manufacturers and secured the $2.4 million federal grant funding the college's new advanced manufacturing lab.
