Prof. Melissa Jacoby

Melissa Jacoby, the college's dean since 2022, is a practicing graphic designer whose studio work is still exhibited nationally. She joined UW–Porter Falls faculty in 2009 and chaired the Graphic Design & Interactive Media program for six years before her appointment as dean.
She has made portfolio review a graduation requirement across every program in the college, not just the design-focused ones.
