Summer camps
Week-long residential and day camps run each summer in robotics, game design, engineering design, nursing and health sciences exploration, and the arts — taught by Porter faculty and staffed by current students, mostly for students entering grades 7–12. Camps use the same labs, shops, and studios current Porter students use during the year.
Weekend and single-day workshops
Shorter workshops run during the school year for local schools and youth organizations — a Saturday robotics workshop, a girls-in-engineering day, a design-thinking session — usually free or low-cost and often brought to a partner school rather than requiring travel to campus.
Dual enrollment and early college
High school students can take Porter courses for both high school and college credit through the dual-enrollment program, either on campus, online, or through the community-college-in-high-school partnership with regional school districts — a head start that also gives a student a real look at whether a program is the right fit before they apply.
For schools and families
Teachers and counselors can request a campus visit, a classroom presentation from a Porter faculty member or student, or a spot in an upcoming camp; most programs have need-based fee waivers so cost is not the reason a student misses out.
Fictional information
UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every office, person, building, phone number and statistic on this page is invented; nothing here describes a real institution or a service you can actually contact.
