How these get written
University Communications pitches a mix of recent graduates and longer-tenured alumni each term, aiming for spread across colleges rather than a handful of the most dramatic outcomes. A profile is a short interview, not an audit — titles and employers are current as of when it was written and are not re-verified after publication.
Not the same as the alumni directory
These profiles are public, published stories anyone can read, chosen and written by University Communications. The alumni directory is a different thing entirely: a private, opt-in networking tool where alumni control their own visibility and are searchable only by other signed-in alumni. Being profiled here does not add you to that directory, and being in that directory does not mean you will be profiled here.
