Career Services

94 percent of graduates report employment or graduate school within six months. This is the office that makes that number defensible, not just printable.

What the office does

  • One-on-one resume and cover letter review, by appointment or walk-in
  • Mock interviews, recorded on request so you can watch yourself wince
  • The fall and spring Career Fairs, plus smaller single-industry fairs through the year
  • An employer relations team that maintains relationships with over 300 regional and national employers
  • A job and internship board exclusive to current students and alumni

Employer partners

Recruiters visit campus year-round, not just at the fall and spring fairs. Regular partners span manufacturing, health systems, technology firms, financial services and regional government agencies across Wesconsin and the upper Midwest. A current list of employers actively recruiting is posted on the job board each semester.

For employers

Employers can post positions, reserve a Career Fair table, or request an information session through the employer relations team. Recruiting on campus is free for organizations offering paid positions.

Appointments

Drop-in hours run weekday afternoons in Founders Hall; scheduled appointments run longer and are recommended before a Career Fair or a specific application deadline.
