The Forge — residential dining
The Forge in Founders Commons is the all-you-care-to-eat hall and the anchor of the meal plan: one swipe gets you in, and you eat as much as you want across the grill, deli, a rotating global station, a dedicated allergen-friendly pantry station, salad and soup, pizza and pasta, a vegan/vegetarian station guaranteed at every meal, and a bakery. It runs continuous service from breakfast through dinner on weekdays and brunch-plus-dinner on weekends during the academic year, with reduced hours over breaks. Guest swipes on your plan let you bring someone in.
Retail — union, markets and cafés
Ironworks Food Hall in Founders Union is the retail hub: pizza, rice and grain bowls, burgers and sandwiches, a salad and wrap line, and one or two rotating stalls that change each term, most with mobile ordering to skip the line. Around campus: North Market (a full convenience store with hot grab-and-go, groceries, and a coffee bar on North Campus), the Library Café, Engineering Express in Founders Hall, and Health Sciences Coffee. All retail spots take Campus Cash (tax-free on food), a card or phone, and, at some, a meal swipe for a fixed "swipe equivalency" combo during set hours.
Coffee, late night and mobile ordering
Coffee kiosks are in the union, the library, and the two big academic buildings, most open early and into the evening. For late food, Ironworks keeps a limited menu going until midnight on weeknights and later on weekends, North Market is the latest-closing option, and the vending banks in every residence hall and academic building take Campus Cash. The dining app shows live hours for every location (they shift around exam weeks and breaks), lets you mobile-order from Ironworks and the cafés, and filters any menu to your dietary needs.
Catering and dietary help
University Catering handles everything from a box-lunch meeting to a banquet and is the required caterer for most events in campus spaces; student organizations order through their advisor with activity-fund billing. A registered dietitian will help you map the safe options at each location for an allergy or medical diet, and every station everywhere posts full allergen and ingredient information.
