Dining & meal plans

Flexible dining, nutrition information, meal-plan changes and practical options for busy schedules.

Home / Dining & meal plans

Choose a plan

Residents compare meals, dining credits, commuter options, guest meals, rollover rules and the cost of changing plans.

Eat with confidence

Menus identify common allergens and dietary preferences; students can speak with dining staff about ingredient questions and accommodations.

Use the day well

The food hall, market, cafés, late hours and mobile ordering are designed around labs, studios, evening classes and athletics.

Pick a plan you will use

Residents compare meal counts, dining dollars, guest meals and rollover rules, and the cost of switching plans later. Commuters can buy smaller blocks. The plan that looks cheapest is not a bargain if half of it expires unused.

Built around lab schedules

The food hall, North Market, the cafés, late-night hours and mobile ordering are arranged around labs, studios, evening classes and athletic practice, because a nine-to-five dining hall does not serve this campus. Allergen information is posted on the line and dining staff will talk through ingredients and accommodations.

In and around Porter Falls

Day-to-day life at Porter runs between Founders Union, the residence halls on the south quad and North Campus across the Riverfront Trail. The Porter Loop shuttle, the lighted trail and a compact footprint mean most students can get anywhere on campus in under fifteen minutes on foot.

The practical details

Where: Founders Union food hall, North Market, three cafés. Plans: Meal-count and dining-dollar options; commuter blocks. Allergens: Labeled on the line; talk to a chef for specifics. These specifics can shift from term to term, so confirm anything time-sensitive — a deadline, an appointment, an eligibility rule — before you count on it.

If you have a question

This is handled by Dean of Students Office (Founders Union, Room 200). Call (715) 555-0182 or email deanofstudents@uwporterfalls.edu during the fall and spring terms, or use MyPorter to send a message or book a time. If another office turns out to own the question, they will pass it along rather than send you back to the beginning.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every office, person, building, phone number and statistic on this page is invented; nothing here describes a real institution or a service you can actually contact.
