Choosing an option
An instructor selects which proctoring method a given online exam uses; students without reliable webcam access at home can instead test at a partner testing center near them, arranged through Online & Extended Learning.
What is actually monitored
Remote proctoring checks identity at the start of the exam and flags unusual activity for instructor review afterward; it does not continuously record audio/video for AI analysis without disclosure, and students are told exactly what is being monitored before the exam starts.
