How it's organized
Varsity esports sits inside Athletics rather than Student Organizations, which is what makes scholarship money and an athletic-department budget possible — the same eligibility and academic-standing rules apply to a roster player as to any other Ironclad athlete.
Trying out
Tryouts run each August for open roster spots; the casual, drop-in Esports Arena hours are separate from the varsity program and open to any student regardless of skill.
In and around Porter Falls
The Ironclads compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Wesconsin Collegiate Athletic Conference, and home events are at the Ironhouse Athletic Center and the riverside fields off North Campus. Millrace Week in October is still built around the homecoming football game.

Titles: Rocket League, Valorant, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Scholarships: Partial scholarships for roster players. Home venue: Esports Arena, Founders Union basement. Anything time-sensitive — an accommodation, a booking, a deadline — is worth confirming directly before you rely on it, because the specifics here can change from term to term.
