About the event
Most conference soccer dates are doubleheaders, and on home football Saturdays soccer moves to Sunday. This one comes the day after the Forge Bowl, against the same opponent, and both teams expect a crowd of people who did not quite get enough rivalry the day before.
Through October 8 the women were 6–2–1 (3–2 in the conference) and the men 5–2–2 (3–1–1). Both play Wednesday, October 14 at home against Northern Wesconsin Tech, and both close the regular season at Lakeview Lutheran on October 24. Conference tournament quarterfinals are Tuesday, November 3, at the higher seed, so a result here can decide who hosts.
After each match, children 12 and under are invited onto the field for the high-five line with the team. Bring a blanket for the bleachers and expect the second match to end around dusk.

Location and access
Millwright Stadium is on the north edge of campus by the river. For soccer, only the home-side bleachers open. Accessible seating is at field level by the river gate, and accessible parking is in the lot beside it. Every general lot is free on Sunday. Bring a layer. The river wind arrives around the second half of the men’s match every October.
Tickets and registration
Students tap a Porter Card at the gate. Public tickets are sold at the gate starting at 12:15. One ticket covers both matches. Prices and season options are on the athletics tickets page. The concession stand at the river gate takes cards and Porter Card, and the hot cider runs out before the men kick off.
Contact and related events
Results, start times and the rest of the fall are on the fall 2026 schedule. The next home event is volleyball’s Senior Night on October 28.
Fictional information
UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. These matches, records, opponents and ticket prices are invented; no one will be playing soccer at Millwright Stadium on October 18.
