About the event
Volleyball opened the season No. 4 in the conference preseason poll and was 10–1 (6–1 in the conference) through October 8, with a six-match win streak. The only loss was 1–3 at Tamarack State on September 16, and the most memorable win was a five-set comeback against Ashby Falls State in this gym. Tamarack State visits on October 13 during Millrace Week, so the rematch comes first. This is the last regular-season home match. Senior Night recognizes the five seniors, with their families on the court, before the warm-ups end.
The conference tournament is November 5–7, and the top seed hosts. If the season keeps going the way it has, this may not be the last match in the fieldhouse this fall, but nobody on the team will say so out loud.

Location and access
Ironclad Fieldhouse has accessible seating with companion seats on the concourse level and an elevator from the main entrance. Accessible parking is in Lot F next to the fieldhouse. The Porter Loop stops at the fieldhouse doors every 12 minutes. Concessions on the concourse take cards and Porter Card, and seats behind the home bench fill first.
Tickets and registration
Students tap a Porter Card at the door. Public tickets are sold at the fieldhouse window from 6 p.m. and online. See athletics tickets. Senior Night usually draws the season’s biggest volleyball crowd, so the student section fills by 6:45.

Fictional information
UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. This match, the team, its record and its seniors are invented; no one will serve a volleyball in Ironclad Fieldhouse on October 28.
