What it is

A nonpartisan table with registration help, deadline and polling-place information for students voting locally or absentee, and a plain-language guide to what is actually on the ballot.

Runs daily in the week before an election. The civic-engagement program also holds candidate forums and structured dialogues year-round.

Getting there and getting in

The campus is 86 acres and nothing is more than a ten-minute walk from anything else; see the building directory for Founders Union. Accessible routes and entrances are on the accessible campus map. For an in-person event that lists registration, register through the office below; walk-ins are usually fine for anything marked open or free.

What to expect when you arrive

No registration is required for this one — arrive any time during the listed window and expect a short check-in table near the entrance if the event runs one.

If you can't make it

Many events like this repeat each semester or year — filter the full calendar by "Community" to find the next one. Not every session is recorded; if this one matters and you cannot attend, ask Center for Community Engagement directly whether materials or a recap will be available afterward.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. This event, its date, venue and details are invented; nothing here announces a real event.
