Admitted and prospective students spend a half-day in the engineering and applied-technology labs doing a hands-on project — machining a part, wiring a circuit, running a materials test — with current students and faculty.

The campus is 86 acres and nothing is more than a ten-minute walk from anything else; see the building directory for Founders Hall. Accessible routes and entrances are on the accessible campus map.
