What the parade includes
Student organizations build floats, the marching band leads, and Porter County businesses and community groups join in along a downtown Main Street route ending at the Founders Union quad, timed to finish well before kickoff.
Entering a float
Student organizations register a parade entry through the involvement suite by early October; entries are judged informally and the winner gets bragging rights, not a prize.

Student life at Porter is organised out of Founders Union, the building students call the campus living room. The Dean of Students Office is on the second floor.

When: Saturday morning of Millrace Week, before the football game. Route: Downtown Main Street to the Founders Union quad. Entries: Student organizations, Porter County businesses, the marching band.
