Graduate Outcomes Survey: 91 Percent Employed or in Graduate School Within Six Months

The career center’s annual survey of the class of 2025 shows strong placement, with results published by program.

Ninety-one percent of respondents to the career center’s annual survey of the class of 2025 reported being employed, in graduate school, in military service, or in a full-time service program within six months of graduation. The knowledge rate — the share of graduates for whom the university has verified outcome data — was 78 percent, meeting the threshold for reliable reporting.

The career center publishes the results broken down by program, including median starting salary, top employers, and the share of graduates who stay in the region. Engineering, computing, and nursing programs reported the highest salaries; education and human-services programs the highest rates of staying in Wesconsin.

“A single university-wide number hides more than it shows. A prospective student choosing a major deserves to see the outcomes for that major, including the ones that are less rosy.”

— director of career services
