Regents Approve Expanded M.S. in Data Science Cohort
The Board of Regents approved a larger incoming cohort for the M.S. in Data Science, citing sustained regional employer demand.
The University of Wesconsin System Board of Regents approved an expanded incoming cohort for UW–Porter Falls' M.S. in Data Science at its July meeting, citing sustained demand from regional employers who have hired every graduate of the program's first three cohorts.
The program will grow from a cap of 24 to 36 students beginning fall 2027, adding one new faculty line in the College of Computing & Information Sciences to support the larger cohort.
