Ironclads Open Season With 27–13 Win Over Eau Pleine
A season-opening win over the Eau Pleine Loggers in front of 3,800 fans at Ironclad Stadium.
The Ironclads opened the 2026 football season with a 27–13 win over the Eau Pleine Loggers Friday night, in front of 3,800 fans at Ironclad Stadium — the largest season-opener crowd in six years.
Porter's defense forced three turnovers in the second half after trailing 13–10 at the break. Head coach called it “a game we needed to be uncomfortable to win, and we were plenty uncomfortable.”
The Ironclads host Chippewa Valley State for the annual Forge Bowl rivalry game on October 17.
