Nursing Program's NCLEX Pass Rate Hits Eleven-Year High
98 percent of this spring's BSN graduates passed the licensure exam on their first attempt, extending an eleven-year streak above the state average.
Ninety-eight percent of UW–Porter Falls' spring 2026 Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates passed the NCLEX-RN licensure exam on their first attempt, the program's highest first-time pass rate in eleven years of continuous tracking and well above the statewide average.
Program faculty credit the result to clinical rotations that begin in the first year rather than the third, spread across five partner hospital systems in the region, and a mandatory NCLEX-preparation course built into the final semester.
The program's clinical placement waitlist remains long enough that the college is exploring a second cohort intake for spring admission, starting as early as 2028.
