Porter Falls life

Porter Falls public spaces

Libraries, trails, plazas, and shared rooms work better when students use them as neighbors rather than temporary owners.

A shared place has many users

A public library table, trail bench, plaza, or waiting room may be someone else’s workspace, quiet break, transit stop, or accessible route. Leave room, keep sound contained, and do not assume a group’s energy belongs everywhere.

Treat access as part of welcome

Keep ramps, doorways, bus stops, and narrow paths clear. Offer a seat when appropriate, do not move someone’s mobility device or belongings, and report damaged lighting or unsafe surfaces instead of improvising a repair.

Leave a lighter footprint

Pack out trash, use bins correctly, follow posted hours and event rules, and do not add stickers, chalk, or signs where they are not allowed. The least flashy form of civic care is making the next person’s use easy.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every office, service, phone number, policy, and statistic on this page is invented; nothing here describes a real institution or a service you can actually contact.
