About this program
Students study structural, geotechnical, environmental and transportation engineering, and every senior class completes a capstone for an actual municipal client — a bridge inspection, a stormwater plan, a road resurfacing study — usually somewhere within a two-hour drive of campus.

- Design structural systems to code, from foundations to roofs
- Model stormwater, wastewater and municipal water systems
- Evaluate soil mechanics and foundation design
- Manage a real municipal capstone project start to finish
