Roster notes

  • Captain. Senior Easton Brueggen, who was medalist at two fall invitationals as a junior.
  • Transfers. Carter Engebretson, Tomas Herrera and Oliver Niemi came to Porter from two-year college programs; their credits transferred under the transfer agreements and their handicaps transferred on their own.
  • SAAC. Sophomore Henry Paulsen, a hospitality management major, represents the team.
  • Winter. From November to March the team practices in the indoor hitting bay in the Fieldhouse auxiliary gym and putts on a carpet that is, by unanimous report, faster than any green in the conference.

Following the team

The fall segment ended in early October; the spring segment runs April through May, and that schedule posts in January (see the winter schedule page). Home events are at the Porter Falls Municipal Course, a ten-minute shuttle from campus; spectators walk free and are asked to stay off the greens.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every athlete on this men’s golf roster is invented — names, numbers, hometowns, heights, class years and majors — as are the coaches and staff; no real student-athlete is listed or described, and the roster belongs to no real team.
