Roster notes

  • Captains. Senior setter Brianna Kvale, who is fifth on the program’s career assists list and president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and junior outside hitter Leah Tesch.
  • The Ashby Falls match. Tesch had 19 kills, eight of them after moving to the right side, and sophomore middle Ava Rindfleisch had seven blocks in the five-set comeback on September 26 (recap). Junior libero Sofia Lindbeck had 24 digs.
  • Replacing a record. Last season’s senior middle blocker graduated second on the all-time blocks list; four middles are on this roster, and the coaches have not settled on a starter opposite Rindfleisch.
  • Classes and majors. Three seniors, four juniors, five sophomores and four first-years. Thirteen of sixteen are in computing, business or design programs. Team GPA was 3.40.
  • Summer camp. The players run the June camp for regional high schoolers; dates are on the youth sports camps page.

Following the team

Results and remaining matches are on the fall 2026 schedule. The Millrace Week match against Tamarack State is Tuesday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m., and Senior Night is October 28 against Northern Wesconsin Tech, both at Ironclad Fieldhouse. The WCAC tournament is November 5–7 at the top seed. Students get in free with a Porter Card (tickets).

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every athlete on this volleyball roster is invented — names, numbers, hometowns, heights, class years and majors — as are the coaches and staff; no real student-athlete is listed or described, and the roster belongs to no real team.
