The 2026–27 roster
Rosters are current as of October 9, 2026 and are updated by Athletic Communications after each roster change. (C) marks a team captain. Hometowns are in Wesconsin unless marked †. Majors are the student’s declared program of record in MyPorter, which, for first-years, is subject to change and frequently does. Wrestlers are listed by the weight class they are certified to enter; several will move between classes during the season.

Roster notes
- Captains. Junior Cole Marten (184), a manufacturing engineering major and SAAC vice president, and senior Mateo Medina (141).
- Back from nationals. Junior Luis Ortega (141) won a consolation match at the national championships last March in his first trip (story).
- The open spot at 165. All-American Caleb Hermanson graduated in May and took a full-time job with the machine shop where he did his co-op. Mateo Herrera (Sr.), Brody Schmitz (Jr.) and Hunter Kuester (So.) will wrestle off for the spot in November.
- Majors. Fourteen of 24 wrestlers are in manufacturing engineering or construction management, which means the room empties at 7 a.m. on lab days. Team GPA was 3.19.
- Classes. Five seniors, six juniors, six sophomores and seven first-years.
- History. The 1988 team, ninth at nationals, is still the program’s best finish.
Following the team
The season opens November 7 at the Logger Open; home duals and the Porter Falls Open (November 14) are at Ironclad Fieldhouse. Every date is on the winter 2026–27 schedule. Students get in free with a Porter Card (tickets).
Fictional information
UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every athlete on this wrestling roster is invented — names, numbers, hometowns, heights, class years and majors — as are the coaches and staff; no real student-athlete is listed or described, and the roster belongs to no real team.
