One form, many funds

Students complete a single scholarship application; the system matches them against every fund's specific criteria — a college, a hometown, a first-generation status, a demonstrated interest — rather than requiring a separate application per scholarship.

Where the funds come from

Most are endowed by alumni, retired faculty or local businesses in memory or honor of someone with a Porter connection; donors set the criteria once and the fund is awarded automatically against it every year after.

In and around Porter Falls

Most families reach campus from the west on US 12 or by regional coach into the Depot District, and the Welcome Center at the Depot is where visits start.

The practical details

Count: 69 named and endowed funds. Application: One universal form matches students to eligible funds. Deadline: March 1 for priority consideration. Anything time-sensitive — an accommodation, a booking, a deadline — is worth confirming directly before you rely on it, because the specifics here can change from term to term.

If you have a question

The office behind this is Office of Admissions (Welcome Center at the Depot). Call (715) 555–0143 or email admissions@uwporterfalls.edu during the fall and spring terms, or sign in to MyPorter to send a message or book a time. If it turns out another office owns the question, they will route it rather than send you back to the start.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every office, person, building, phone number and statistic on this page is invented; nothing here describes a real institution or a service you can actually contact.
