Admissions

Transfer students

Articulation agreements with every Wesconsin technical college, and a credit evaluation before you commit to anything.

Home Transfer

Credit transfer

UW–Porter Falls accepts transfer credit from any regionally accredited institution. Courses with a grade of C or better generally transfer; how they apply toward a specific major depends on the program.

Articulation agreements

Formal articulation agreements exist with all sixteen Wesconsin Technical College System campuses, guaranteeing junior standing for students who complete an associate degree in a matched field — most commonly into Engineering Technology, IT, Business Administration and the Applied & Technical Studies programs.

Transfer credit evaluation

Submit transcripts before your first advising appointment. Most evaluations are returned within three weeks; students with an associate degree from a partner college often receive theirs within one.

Adult and returning students

About 14 percent of the entering class each fall is 24 or older. The registrar's office runs a dedicated advising track for adult and returning students, including credit for relevant prior work experience in some technical programs.
