Alumni Spotlight
Angela Cho
B.S. '12, Cybersecurity · Head of Information Security, a financial services firm
Angela Cho was in one of the Cybersecurity program's earliest graduating classes, back when the major was still finding its footing. She has spent a decade building security programs at financial services firms and now leads information security for a firm managing several billion dollars in regional assets.
She credits the program's hands-on penetration-testing coursework for her first job offer: “I walked into an interview and could actually talk through a real assessment, not just theory. That was the whole interview, honestly.”
Advice for current students
“Ship something real before you graduate — a working project beats a perfect GPA in almost every interview I have sat on.” — Angela Cho
