Derek Wysocki

Derek Wysocki and a classmate built their first robotic tooling prototype in a Founders Hall lab as seniors in 2019. Five years later, the company they founded was named to a statewide list of fast-growing manufacturing startups — see the full story.
The company has since hired eleven UW–Porter Falls graduates, most from Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Technology. “We hire from here on purpose,” Wysocki says. “We know exactly what the degree means, because we lived it.”
