Departments
Course listings, department pages, and faculty profiles across Porter refer to this college as the College of Management — that's its formal name of record for the Accounting & Finance, Management, and Marketing & Supply Chain departments. “College of Business” is the name students and applicants see; “College of Management” is the name on the org chart. Same college, same dean, same building.
Facilities
Most of the college’s classes and labs run out of Commerce Hall. Case rooms, a trading lab, and the Small Business Development Center — the college’s home since the 2014 renovation. The trading lab runs on a 15-minute delayed market feed and is booked solid during the derivatives and portfolio-theory electives.
Student organizations
- Entrepreneurship Club runs the annual pitch competition that has seeded three still-operating Porter Falls storefronts
- Finance & Investment Club manages a real, small student-run investment portfolio under faculty oversight
- Marketing Club partners with local small businesses on real campaign briefs each semester
- Supply Chain Association tours regional distribution centers and manufacturers twice a semester
