What it is

Regional high-school and college teams bring autonomous robots to compete on the automation lab floor. Porter's own team, national runner-up last year, demonstrates its recycling-sort robot between rounds.

A good afternoon for families deciding whether an engineering or computing program is a fit.

For an in-person event that lists registration, register through the office below; walk-ins are usually fine for anything marked open or free.

What to expect when you arrive

No registration is required for this one — arrive any time during the listed window and expect a short check-in table near the entrance if the event runs one.

If you can't make it

Many events like this repeat each semester or year — filter the full calendar by "Academic" to find the next one. Not every session is recorded; if this one matters and you cannot attend, ask College of Engineering & Technology directly whether materials or a recap will be available afterward.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. This event, its date, venue and details are invented; nothing here announces a real event.
