What it is
Undergraduate degrees are conferred in two sittings by college. Graduates line up 75 minutes early; guest seating is general admission and opens 90 minutes before, with an overflow room and a livestream.
Parking is free in all lots on ceremony day, and the Porter Loop runs an expanded route to the Fieldhouse doors.

Getting there and getting in
The campus is 86 acres and nothing is more than a ten-minute walk from anything else; see the building directory for Ironclad Fieldhouse. Accessible routes and entrances are on the accessible campus map. For an in-person event that lists registration, register through the office below; walk-ins are usually fine for anything marked open or free.
What to expect when you arrive
Because this one lists a reservation or ticket step, arrive with your confirmation ready — some sessions have sold out in past years, and a held spot can be released to the waitlist if you are more than a few minutes late.
If you can't make it
This is a one-time event for its specific class or term rather than a recurring one, so there is no equivalent session later in the year if you cannot make it — check with the office below about any recording or alternate arrangement.
Fictional information
UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. This event, its date, venue and details are invented; nothing here announces a real event.
