Daniel Amara

Background

Daniel Amara is on the faculty of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and holds a Ph.D. from Iowa State University. Before Porter, Daniel was a controls engineer in industrial automation.

Daniel's research focuses on embedded and real-time systems, with related work in analog and mixed-signal design; undergraduates are involved in the lab most terms.

Teaching

Daniel regularly teaches courses in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.
