Elena Sato

Background

Elena Sato is on the faculty of the Department of Cybersecurity & Information Technology and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Before Porter, Elena ran a security operations center for a regional bank.

Elena's work centers on teaching and curriculum in incident response and digital forensics and governance, risk, and compliance, including course redesign and mentoring newer instructors.

Teaching
