Emmett Halvorsen

Background

Emmett Halvorsen is on the faculty of the Department of Chemistry and holds a Ph.D. from the Ohio State University. Before Porter, Emmett taught at a two-year college before joining Porter.

Emmett's research focuses on physical chemistry and spectroscopy, with related work in environmental chemistry; undergraduates are involved in the lab most terms.

Teaching
