Everett Antonelli

Professor of Practice, Nursing

Home / Departments / Nursing / Everett Antonelli

Background

Everett Antonelli is on the faculty of the Department of Nursing and holds a master’s degree from the University of Colorado, along with professional licensure and industry certifications. Before Porter, Everett worked in community and public-health nursing.

Everett brings that practice into the classroom, teaching from real cases and current standards in mental health nursing and nursing education and simulation.

Areas of expertise

  • Mental health nursing
  • Nursing education and simulation
  • Applied practice and industry partnerships

Teaching

Everett regularly teaches courses in Nursing. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.

Class time is built around cases and real deliverables. Students work to professional standards, present to a critique or a client-style panel, and revise. Everett keeps the connection to current practice explicit.

Advising and office hours

Everett advises students in the Nursing programs and holds weekly office hours during the fall and spring terms, posted on the office door and in the course pages. Prospective students are welcome to email to arrange a visit or a call.

Advising conversations usually cover course sequencing, whether to add a minor or a concentration, and how classroom work connects to internships, research, or graduate study. Students who are undecided are welcome; part of the job is helping them narrow things down.

Recent and representative work

Everett stays active in practice alongside teaching, through consulting, standards work, and applied projects in mental health nursing and nursing education and simulation. Representative items:

  • An applied project in mental health nursing with an industry or community partner.
  • A workshop or short course on nursing education and simulation for practitioners in the region.
  • Service on a standards, licensing, or advisory body related to mental health nursing.

Titles and venues here are illustrative. UW–Porter Falls is fictional; Everett has no real publication record.

Get in touch

The fastest way to reach Everett is email (eantonelli@uwporterfalls.edu); messages during the fall and spring terms are usually answered within two business days. Prospective students and families can ask the Nursing department office to set up a call, a class visit, or a meeting during an admitted-student day.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Everett Antonelli is not a real person; this profile, the degree, the email address and the background are all invented.
