Peter Brenner

Background

Peter Brenner is on the faculty of the Department of Nursing and holds a Ph.D. from RMIT University. Before Porter, Peter practiced in emergency and trauma care.

Peter's work centers on teaching and curriculum in quality and safety and maternal and child health, including course redesign and mentoring newer instructors.

Teaching

Peter regularly teaches courses in Nursing. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.

Peter designs courses around clear, visible learning outcomes, frequent retrieval practice, and prompt feedback, and revises the sequence each year based on where students actually get stuck.

Advising and office hours
