Priya Amara

Background

Priya Amara is on the faculty of the Department of Biology and holds a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University. Before Porter, Priya taught secondary science before graduate school.

Priya's research focuses on human anatomy and physiology, with related work in immunology; undergraduates are involved in the lab most terms.

Teaching
