Sofia Okafor

Background

Sofia Okafor is on the faculty of the Department of Biology and holds a master’s degree from the Ohio State University, along with professional licensure and industry certifications. Before Porter, Sofia taught secondary science before graduate school.

Sofia brings that practice into the classroom, teaching from real cases and current standards in genetics and genomics and human anatomy and physiology.

Teaching

Sofia regularly teaches courses in Biology. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.
