Game day guide

Getting into Ironclad home events — tickets, parking, seating, and what you can bring.

Home / Game day guide

Football at the Ironhouse fields

Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff. The student section is general admission — arrive early for Millrace Week and rivalry games. The pep band and the spirit squad lead the north stands. Concessions take card and Porter Card.

Everything else

Basketball, volleyball, and wrestling are in the Ironhouse Athletic Center; hockey and soccer are on North Campus. All are free for students and inexpensive for the public. Check the athletics site for the week's schedule and any weather calls.

In and around Porter Falls

The Ironclads compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Wesconsin Collegiate Athletic Conference, and home events are at the Ironhouse Athletic Center and the riverside fields off North Campus. Millrace Week in October is still built around the homecoming football game.

The practical details

Students: Free admission to all regular-season home events with a Porter Card; reserved student sections at football and basketball. Parking: General lots open free three hours before football kickoff; the close lots are permit or paid. Bring: A clear bag only at football and basketball; no outside food or drink, no re-entry. Anything time-sensitive — an accommodation, a booking, a deadline — is worth confirming directly before you rely on it, because the specifics here can change from term to term.

If you have a question

The office behind this is Ironclad Athletics (Ironhouse Athletic Center). Call (715) 555–0195 or email athletics@uwporterfalls.edu during the fall and spring terms, or sign in to MyPorter to send a message or book a time. If it turns out another office owns the question, they will route it rather than send you back to the start.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every office, person, building, phone number and statistic on this page is invented; nothing here describes a real institution or a service you can actually contact.
