Alumni-Founded Manufacturing Startup Named to State Innovation List
A company founded by two 2019 Mechanical Engineering graduates was named to a statewide list of fast-growing manufacturing startups.
A manufacturing automation startup founded by two 2019 UW–Porter Falls Mechanical Engineering graduates was named to a statewide list of fast-growing manufacturing companies this month, five years after the founders built their first prototype in a Founders Hall lab as seniors.
The company, which designs custom robotic tooling for small and mid-size manufacturers, has hired eleven UW–Porter Falls graduates since 2022, mostly from Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Technology.
“We hire from here on purpose,” one of the founders said. “We know exactly what the degree means.”
