Class of 2026 Is the Largest in University History
About 1,650 graduates crossed the stage at Ironclad Fieldhouse, led by nursing, cybersecurity, and mechanical engineering.
UW–Porter Falls conferred about 1,650 degrees at spring commencement, the largest graduating class in the university’s history. The ceremony at Ironclad Fieldhouse ran in two sittings by college, with a separate graduate hooding the evening before.
The largest programs among the graduates were nursing, cybersecurity, mechanical engineering, elementary education, and business administration. About a third of the class were the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree, and roughly 28 percent transferred in from a two-year college.
The university’s most recent graduate outcomes survey, covering the class of 2025, reported that 91 percent of respondents were employed or in graduate school within six months, with a median starting salary that the career center publishes by program.
