Fall Commencement Speaker Announced: A 2011 Alumna Now Leading Statewide Manufacturing Policy

UW–Porter Falls has announced its fall commencement speaker: a 2011 mechanical engineering graduate who now directs a statewide manufacturing workforce initiative connecting employers, technical colleges, and universities across Wesconsin.
University Communications says the speaker was selected in part because her career path — a shop-floor internship during her Porter years leading eventually to state-level policy work — reflects the kind of applied trajectory the university tries to set students up for.

Fall commencement is held in two sittings at the Fieldhouse to accommodate every graduate’s guests; details on ticketing are sent to graduates by email each September.
