The 2026–27 roster

Rosters are current as of October 9, 2026 and are updated by Athletic Communications after each roster change. (C) marks a team captain. Hometowns are in Wesconsin unless marked †. Majors are the student’s declared program of record in MyPorter, which, for first-years, is subject to change and frequently does.

Roster notes

  • The ace. Senior Kenzie Albrecht (1.84 ERA, 171 strikeouts, first-team all-conference) threw four of the staff’s six shutouts last spring.
  • The bunt. Junior Gracie Thielen’s two-out bunt single won the conference semifinal at Red Cedar Diamond (story). She has been asked to sign three bunts since.
  • Captains. Albrecht and senior outfielder Morgan Hessel, a kinesiology major and the team’s SAAC representative.
  • Classes and majors. Four seniors, five juniors, four sophomores and five first-years; four seniors graduated in May. Four players major in kinesiology or dietetics. Team GPA was 3.38, and eight players made the all-academic list.

Following the team

The spring 2027 schedule is posted in January; until then, the winter schedule page says when. Home games are at Red Cedar Diamond on the North Campus riverside fields, next to baseball’s Dunmore Field. The fall-ball showcase doubles as a recruiting event; prospects should read about recruiting visits first.

Fictional information

UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Every athlete on this softball roster is invented — names, numbers, hometowns, heights, class years and majors — as are the coaches and staff; no real student-athlete is listed or described, and the roster belongs to no real team.
