About the event
The November Preview Day follows the same agenda as October’s, with one addition. From 2:15 to 3:30 the Founders Hall high bay is open as an Engineering & Technology lab, where senior design teams run their projects and the foundry crew shows how a sand mold is packed. Prospective engineering students usually stay to the end, and so do their parents.
The timing matters for seniors. Students admitted by December 1 are reviewed in the first round of merit awards, and decisions take about two weeks. Applying on the spot at a Preview Day, which is free, is the practical way to make that date.

Location and access
Park in Lot D next to the Welcome Center. STEM Saturday runs the same morning, so younger siblings in grades K–8 can spend it building circuits, if their family registered them separately. An accessible shuttle follows the tour loop. Ask for interpreters or accessible transport by Monday, November 9.
Tickets and registration
Free. Register on the visit page or at (715) 555–0144 by Wednesday, November 11. Check the travel grant box if you live 60 or more miles away and money is the obstacle.

Fictional information
UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. This Preview Day, its open lab and its scholarship timing are invented for a fictional university; there is nothing to register for and no merit award to win.
