Aisha Winslow

Background

Aisha Winslow is on the faculty of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and holds a doctoral clinical degree from Michigan State University and is licensed to practice. Before Porter, Aisha was a test engineer for an off-highway vehicle manufacturer.

Aisha brings that practice into the classroom, teaching from real cases and current standards in energy systems and tribology.

Teaching

Aisha regularly teaches courses in Mechanical Engineering. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.

Class time is built around cases and real deliverables. Students work to professional standards, present to a critique or a client-style panel, and revise. Aisha keeps the connection to current practice explicit.

Advising and office hours
