How it works
Students can choose a gender-inclusive room assignment on the standard housing application; roommate matching then works the same way it does for any other assignment, using stated preferences rather than legal sex.
Where it is available
Traditional halls offer it on select floors; North Campus's suite and apartment layouts make it available building-wide because bedrooms are already private within a shared unit.
In and around Porter Falls
Day-to-day life at Porter runs between Founders Union, the residence halls on the south quad and North Campus across the Riverfront Trail. The Porter Loop shuttle and a compact footprint mean most students can get anywhere on campus in under fifteen minutes on foot.
