Using the app
Search a dish to see its full recipe, sub-ingredients, allergens, and nutrition facts, and tap a diet filter (vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-avoiding) to hide everything that doesn't fit. Menus update when the kitchen's plan changes, so check the day-of for accuracy.
When labels aren't enough
A printed station card shows allergens and diet icons; the app has the detail. For a medical diet, meet the dietitian rather than relying on labels — see dietary accommodations. Sourcing and preparation questions (is the soup stock vegetarian, is the fryer shared) go to the dietitian or the station chef.
In and around Porter Falls
Day-to-day life at Porter runs between Founders Union, the residence halls on the south quad and North Campus across the Riverfront Trail. The Porter Loop shuttle and a compact footprint mean most students can get anywhere on campus in under fifteen minutes on foot.
The practical details
Menus: Posted a week ahead in the dining app and on screens at each hall; filter by diet and allergen. Nutrition: Per-serving calories, macros, and the big-nine allergens for every recipe, in the app. Questions: The campus dietitian answers ingredient and sourcing questions directly. Anything time-sensitive — an accommodation, a booking, a deadline — is worth confirming directly before you rely on it, because the specifics here can change from term to term.
